US sees Russia staying world’s top wheat exporter in 2020–2021

MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- Russia should remain the world’s top wheat exporter in the 2020–2021 agricultural year, which will run from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, by exporting 35 million tonnes of wheat, as seen by PRIME in a May market overview of the U.S. Agriculture Department on Tuesday.

The USDA also expects the E.U. to export 28.5 million tonnes of wheat in the period, and the U.S. to export 26 million tonnes of wheat.
